Hisham loves history and his interest in history is quite apparent. Take him to a bookstore and soon you will find him in the history section, immersing himself in some kind of a history book. You could leave him there until the store closes and he won't even realise it. He always carries some kind of history book with him. Whenever he finds a free moment he will flip and read a few pages. His greatest history appetite is for ancient Middle Eastern history. Whether the book content is fiction or not, he will read it.
Another interest was sparked during his studies in Design, and that is community art. Shortly thereafter, he joined different artist networks and contributed to the arts and culture strategy of some of his local councils. He ended up chairing the Western Region Arts Network (WRAN) as President, curating and managing arts events with his fellow members across 6 city councils in Melbourne's West.
