As Albert Einstein once said "Any fool can know, the point is to understand", Hisham constantly challenges his assumptions to understand his environment. He invites thought-provoking discussions about current affairs and lets you wonder in possibilities. An engineer, multimedia professional and certified trainer by education, his interest are also in art and history.
Hisham's interest in history is quite apparent. Taking him to a bookstore, you will soon find him in the history section and staying there immersing himself in some kind of a history book. You could leave him there until the store closes and he won't even realise it.

Hisham always carries some kind of history book with him. Whenever he finds a free moment he will flip and read some pages. Hisham's history appetite for ancient Middle Eastern history and King Henry VIII of England is limitless. No matter, whether the content is fiction or not, he will read it.

Hisham's interest in community art sparked since his design studies. He engaged in the arts community by joining different artists networks and contributing to the arts and culture strategy of some of his local councils.

He also chaired the Western Region Arts Network (WRAN) as President promoting the arts in Melbourne's Western region. In his capacity together with his fellow members he curated and facilitated arts events and sessions across 6 councils in Melbourne's West.

As a volunteer he conducts free workshops for the local community in topics ranging from storytelling to technology. He was also featured in local community newspapers of fairfax media about his community engagement.
